Worked with London Borough of Ealing to rebuild their Emergency Planning capability
Emergency Planning
Following the departure of key personnel, the London Borough of Ealing required interim leadership to maintain the capability of its Emergency Management function. Continuity Through Planning stepped in to provide an interim Head of Emergency Management, ensuring continuity in the council’s ability to respond effectively to incidents. We conducted a full review of the team’s scope and capability, leading to an updated structure that was aligned with future needs. Once the revised structure was approved, we supported the recruitment of five new roles and delivered tailored onboarding and training for the emergency management team. In parallel, we also recruited and trained a new cohort of Gold, Silver, and Bronze officers, as well as council volunteers, ensuring the organisation was equipped with the people, knowledge, and leadership required for an effective emergency response.
