Planning an Design

This phase begins with a targeted training needs analysis to identify gaps in knowledge, capability, and organisational readiness. We work closely with you to clarify objectives, what needs to be trained, for whom, and why, ensuring that each programme is purpose-driven. Whether designing a one-off exercise or a scalable, repeatable training programme, we tailor the format, style, and complexity to match your organisation’s specific needs. ​With clear objectives and a defined audience, we begin by designing a prototype training or exercise scenario, typically within two weeks. This draft is reviewed in collaboration with your internal sponsor to ensure alignment with the intended outcomes. ​

 

Following feedback, we iterate and refine the design, finalising all delivery details including location, required personnel, supporting materials, and any necessary pre-work. Our goal is to ensure a seamless, effective experience that meets both operational needs and learning objectives.

Following every training session or exercise, we conduct a structured debrief to capture immediate feedback, lessons learned, and any issues encountered during delivery. This is complemented by a post-event survey to gather participant insights and assess overall effectiveness.
