Working with Rightmove to improve their Business Continuity and Crisis Management
Business Continuity
We worked with Rightmove to overhaul their business continuity approach, refreshing departmental plans, delivering targeted training, and running practical exercises to build confidence and clarity across teams. Our focus was on ensuring that all staff understand not just their roles and responsibilities, but also the triggers for activating continuity measures. The revised plans are structured around the consequences of disruption, rather than specific scenarios, making them more adaptable, actionable, and aligned with real-world operational impact.
Crisis Management
We designed and implemented a comprehensive crisis management plan, expanding the crisis management team from just two individuals to include the broader senior leadership team. This transformation was supported by one-to-one training for all primary crisis team members, ensuring each individual understood their role and responsibilities. A regular testing schedule was introduced, focused on plausible worst-case scenarios to keep the team sharp and prepared. To build resilience into leadership coverage, we also appointed two dedicated deputies for each core crisis management role, providing them with ongoing training and exercises to ensure seamless continuity should a primary lead be unavailable.
